Sazerac Company Reaches Agreement with
White Rock Distilleries to Purchase Number of Brands

White Rock Distilleries Inc. and Sazerac Company, Inc. jointly announced today that they have reached agreement for Sazerac to
purchase a number of brands, effective Oct 1, 2011. The brands include Tortilla, Desert Island, Kapali, Ryans, Fire Water, Ice 101, Barbarossa, Ice Box, Mt Royal and others.
White Rock CEO Paul Coulombe stated in regards to the sale, "White Rock has spent many years working on these brands and they have
played an integral role for White Rock as we have been building our business. Now with the explosive growth we are seeing for our Pinnacle Vodka and Calico Jack Rums, we felt that is was time to move our focus and resources to our
larger, national brands. Our national brands are growing at over 150,000 cases per month and we need to prepare our facilities and resources to handle this growth. Sazerac is acquiring some very good brands and we wish them great
success with the products in the future."
Mark Brown, President and CEO of Sazerac,
commented, "We are delighted to acquire these brands from White Rock. These brands fit well with our vision and they will further strengthen both our Sazerac and Gemini portfolios."
In total, Sazerac is purchasing 32 brands from
White Rock Distilleries. The purchase price was not disclosed.
